Insurance
It is your responsibility to take out appropriate travel insurance at the time of booking. It is a requirement of our Booking Conditions that every Riviera passenger is in possession of valid Travel Insurance for the full duration of your trip. If you have not organised this yet, please make sure you are covered before you leave home. You are free to choose any travel insurance policy, however you should ensure that your policy provides at least the same benefits as Riviera’s scheme.
Having compared our levels of cover and prices with many of our competitors, we know that our policy represents great value for money. More and more of our customer have taken up the policy secure in the knowledge that, from the time of booking to returning home from holiday, they have comprehensive cancellation and insurance cover.

Travel insurance is provided by Riviera Travel as an appointed representative of Travel & General Insurance Company plc and is underwritten by ACE European Group Limited. There are exclusions relating to any pre-existing medical conditions for you and anyone on whom your travel plans depend (such as a Close Relative). Please call our dedicated Healthcheck team on 0844 826 2725 and they will be able to advise you of the cover available. You will be provided with a policy booklet and confirmation certificate, please read both carefully to ensure that the cover provided meets your needs. If for any reason you are not happy with the policy, you can return it to us within 14 days for a full refund provided that you have not travelled or made a claim. Please ensure that you travel insurance policy covers you for any activities that you plan to undertake on your holiday. You should always carry your policy documents and the 24 hour emergency number with you on your holiday. We would also suggest that you leave a copy with a friend or relative.
