We just wanted to say how much we had enjoyed our recent trip to Burma (Myanmar) managed by Sue and locally guided by Reggie.  The arrangements went very smoothly and professionally, and the whole trip was varied and extremely interesting.  Sue and Reggie went the extra mile to ensure that all expectations were met, and indeed exceeded, and we were very glad to have seen this fascinating country before there is too much change.  All in all, a great holiday.

Planes,Trains, Long Boats,Trucks, Horse & Carts,  Riviera’s interesting mix of travel through magical Myanmar, every way letting us mix with the locals.  Early days for tourism, now is the time to get there - almost beating Coca Cola who have only just signed their distribution deal.  Riviera have got their mix of sights well balanced, excellent variety of hotels and absolute safety for visitors who are greeted with beautiful smiles.  The services of our Tour Manager Kevin Reynolds and Aung our tour guide, was exceptional. Their contribution made this Riviera tour another great one.

We have travelled with your company on several tours and Burma -The Golden Land surpassed all our expectations. The diversity of the country from the Inle Lake communities, old colonial influences in Mandalay, to the heritage site of Bagan, together with the warmth and friendliness of the Myanmar people will give us lasting memories.
Many thanks to Sue - tour manager, and Mo - tour guide for all their support and in reorganising the programme when necessary.
We feel privileged to be able to visit this land before tourism develops, so thank you Riviera for all your hard work in arranging a fascinating insight into a beautiful and spiritual country. 28/03/2013

Returned last week from your escorted tour of Burma. This was our first trip to the far east and we cannot praise your organisation more highly. Both the English and Burmese guides were excellent and were very flexible in organising the tour to blend in with our many and varied requirements. The hotels in general were first class and improved as the tour went on. The highlights of the tour were from our point of view the time we spent on Lake Inle which was a magical 3 days, the train journey over the Gokteik viaduct and our time in Pagan. The chance to meet so many local people and children many of whom had never seen foreign visitors was really special . Well done Riviera for organising such a fantastic tour.

We would just like to say what an excellent holiday we had with you in Burma.  We were somewhat nervous about what it would be like in Burma and a complex trip like this, before we went, but thanks to your organisation and the excellent Tour Manager (Christine) and Guide (Win) everything went like clockwork.  Their attention to detail is something that I have not seen before on a tour - members of the group had different things that they were interested in and wherever possible these were incorporated into the tour.  (Including a visit to the Strand Hotel for afternoon tea, a visit to a specific room in the Strand for a traveller who was in Burma in 1947 and stayed at the Strand).  The travel was made so easy with suitcases being taken care of, boarding passes appearing by magic and everything working out.  It was really great to see so many of the sights, to get in touch with the people and their culture. Before we went some of our friends asked why we would want to go to Burma - I now have about 1000 reasons.
Thank you all for making this work so well.
